SL,No, never had a problem with it. Why not filing the brace area were they meet the crossbar. That should give more "bite" making it grip tighter.Eggy

Eggy, agreed. I forgot to mention I had already done that at the same time I used the LocTite 638. It still moved. I'm going to try taking a little more material off and give the 638 one more shot....
